Charles F. Maupin
Charles F. Maupin earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2002. He subsequently obtained his law degree from Valparaiso University in 2006, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school Chuck was a note writer and editor for the Valparaiso Law Review.
As a member of the firm’s Business and Corporate Department and Estate Planning Department, Chuck concentrates his transactional practice in the areas of corporate and business law, estate planning, succession planning, and probate and trust administration. Chuck assists and counsels’ individuals and owners of family-owned/closely-held businesses with implementing core estate planning documents (i.e., revocable trusts, wills, and powers of attorney) and wealth preservation and transfer strategies to preserve and successfully transition their businesses and wealth to the next generation. In addition, he assists businesses in a variety of industries with entity selection and formation, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and review, real estate, and general corporate representation.
Chuck is married with 4 children. Chuck and his family attend Calvary Community Church in Schaumburg. In his free time, Chuck likes to golf, play basketball, coach and attend his kids’ sporting events and extracurricular activities, and play board games.
